Flights Around the World
Take to the skies in this action-packed week of flight-themed adventures! Campers will explore the wonders of aviation with a visit to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, where they’ll get up close to real fighter jets and space shuttles. A trip to the American Museum of Natural History will reveal the secrets of butterfly flight, from delicate wing patterns to incredible migrations. WEEK 2
July 7 – 11
H2Ohhhhhh!
We are making a splash as we dive into our first full week of Carroll Kids Camp with Water Week. Get ready for a week packed with water activities, water themed art projects along with our scheduled classes. Our first adventure will be to Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Water Lab, where we will splash, play and cool off. Then later in the week, we are heading back to DreamWorks water park at American Dream- because last year was so amazing. So grab your swimsuit and bring your energy, this is about to be an amazing Water Week!
WEEK 3
July 14 – 18
The Masks We Wear & Share
“A mask tells us more than a face” says Oscar Wilde. The different masks we wear have unique meanings and usage. For example, the samurai of Japan wore masks to instill fear into their enemies. Brazilians wear masks during Carnival for culture expression. Superheroes wear masks to conceal their identities; what would you wear a mask for?
WEEK 4
July 21 – 25
Nature’s Calling
This week campers will explore nature and reconnect with the outdoors. In addition to the regularly scheduled chess, hip hop, soccer, animation, and gardening classes, Nature Week campers will have opportunities to use the environment around them as inspiration for a variety of art projects. This week will include trips to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Governor’s Island Farm. We are excited to support our campers as they explore the natural world at Nature Week!
WEEK 5
July 28 – August 1
The City is Our Playground
Join us for a week of adventure as we explore the best playgrounds in NYC! Campers will vote on their favorite spots on the first day, making each day a surprise adventure. From towering slides to epic splash pads, we’ll climb, swing, and play our way through the city. The grand finale? A thrilling day at Luna Park in Coney Island!
